The 695Hoops Public vs Private Challenge took place at John Carroll on Friday and Saturday. The opening game had Maryland Academy of Tech, Health Sciences (Maths) holding on for a 45 to 39 win over host John Carroll. Michelle Fitzgerald had 14 points and 11 rebounds for Maths. Yemaya Johnson scored 9 for John Carroll.

Game two saw the Calverton School make the trip up and notch an easy win over Baltimore's Coppin Academy. Angelina Horan's 13 points led Calverton. The final score was 39 to 13.

The Friday finale saw Aberdeen hang on to beat a tough McDonogh team, 57 to 51. Aberdeen's Bri Jones was too much of an inside presence as she poured in 30 points. Endia Jones added 8 points. McDonogh's Danielle Edwards had 14 points and Dajah Logan added 13.

Saturday's opening game saw Milford Mill wear down the the Blazers of Notre Dame Prep in a battle of two of Baltimore County's best programs. The Blazers kept it close for most of the first half but the Millers' pressure wore them down. The final score was 64 to 50. Dionna White and Qierra Murray scored 21 each for Milford and Angela Healy had 15 for NDP.

North Point defeated Seton Keough in a back and forth game by a score of 51 to 47. Khaila Prather scored 16 points for North Point. Karli Zeps led Seton Keough with 12.

The final game of the series saw Severn make a late rally and put away Maths, 55 to 51. Emily Gibbons scored 29 points to lead Severn. Michelle Fitzgerald had 22 points and 13 rebounds for Maths.
